“When Everything’s OK We’ll Destroy it Again” contains some of the last recordings by the DISFUNCTIONALS. The album remained unfinished at the time of Dave Teachman’s untimely passing, and many of the songs are presented here still in rough form.

Mixing and mastering of the instruments and the vocals remains incomplete. Even the lyrics in some cases are just sketches of what they could eventually become. But what is not missing is the heart and the energy that made the DISFUNCTIONALS what they were.

Without Dave, and with the consequent splintering of the band, the album would never be what it was meant to be. But those who have ears to hear may still sense the power and the spirit of the DISFUNCTIONALS coursing through the veins of these songs. And on an optimistic note, sometime in the near future Rob Roth plans to get together with the DISFUNCTIONALS and help them to do a final mix on the songs here.

So rest in peace, Dave, and thank you to you, Robby, Ger, Jeff, Erok, Jason, Scott, and everyone who was part of the DISFUNCTIONALS, for all the great music. May you rock on and on. May you rock though the stratosphere and far beyond.
